Biotox Glutathione

About

Glutathione (GSH) may protect the brain from free radicals and oxidative stress.

Decreased levels of glutathione have been linked to the initiation and progression of neurodegenerative diseases, including ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s diseases.*

Oral intake of GSH does not increase GSH levels in the body.
Approximately 4 dosages of Biotox 450mg suppositories is the equivalent of one (1) I.V. dose absorbed.

Supplement Facts

Serving Size: 1 Suppository
Servings Per Container: 30
Amount Per Serving
Reduced Glutathione (Active ingredient)    450 mg

Suppository Base: Supposibase-F is a fatty acid suppository base suitable for both rectal and vaginal use. This product is manufactured from raw materials of strictly vegetable origin.

Recommended Use: 1 to 3 per day or as directed by your healthcare professional. Biotox Reduced Glutathione can be taken at any time during the day, but best when taken at night before bedtime so absorption takes places when the body is in a state of repair and there is less metabolic competition.
Reduced Glutathione (GSH) is one the most key antioxidants in the body, and it is important to have an adequate supply to resist the accumulation of oxidants, which produce oxidative stress. The primary issue with oral glutathione supplements, like capsules and liquids, is that the vast majority of molecules are broken down in the digestive system before reaching cells within the bloodstream. This is one reason why many healthcare professionals believe that glutathione has particularly low bioavailability. However, glutathione in suppository form has displayed significant improvements on the absorption rates of glutathione in a number of recipients. This convenient alternative to oral and IV intake has given many who are glutathione deficient the exact level of support that they need.

Warnings: As with any product, if you are pregnant or may become pregnant or are breastfeeding, seek the advice of a healthcare professional before using this product.  Although safe for children, this product should be kept out of the reach of children. Glutathione Description

  • What is EDTA?
EDTA is a widely-used abbreviation for the chemical compound ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid Why a suppository? EDTA, the active ingredient, is a synthetic amino acid that needs to remain whole to be effective. When taken by mouth, about 95% of the EDTA will be destroyed by the acids in the stomach making it unusable. Getting EDTA via an IV, while effective, is very time consuming, expensive and potentially dangerous due to the high dosage. With a suppository, there is about a 95% absorption rate and no requirement for blood work to determine kidney and liver function as is required before getting IV EDTA treatments. After you insert the suppository into the rectum, it is melted through body heat and then absorbed through the colon wall directly into the blood stream via the hemorroidal veins. The middle and lower hemorroidal veins will bypass the liver kidneys on the first pass, allowing the EDTA to remain in the body for far longer than if you had received it via an IV. The circulatory system, lymphatic system and soft tissues are very large, subsequently, the more time you give the EDTA to bind to a toxic heavy metal the more effective it will be and the more areas of the body it can affect.
  • Are Toxic Heavy Metals a serious health problem?
Toxic Heavy Metals have been linked to many health problems and diseases that plaque us today. These ailments that toxic heavy metals have been implicated with include degenerative diseases like Alzheimers, Parkinsons and ALS. Circulatory problems like hardening of the arteries, atherilsclerosis, athrosclerosis, Angina, Peripheral Neuropathies, High blood pressure and blocked arteries. Many toxic heavy metals such as Mercury are neurotoxins that disrupt and change electrical pathways in your body helping to cause many neurological disorders, dementia and even death. Toxic heavy metals are one of the major causes, but under-reported causes, of many health problems we all face today. We come in contact with these metals on a daily basis though many sources including dental amalgams, cookware, deodorants, hair dyes, lipsticks, drinking water, metal food containers, the air we breathe, household cleaners etc. The only way to help combat this is to remove the toxic heavy metals from our bodies and to reduce or eliminate the contact points for these toxins.
  • Should I take mineral supplements while using Biotox?
It is strongly recommended that you supplement daily with a good quality, natural multi vitamin/mineral to help replace the needed minerals that are lost due to natural processes and chelation. The EDTA in Biotox will bind with some essential minerals, but at a much slower rate than toxic heavy metals. Your body will breakdown and utilize essential minerals such as Iron, Zinc and Magnesium but not toxic heavy metals that it doesn’t have any use for. Since the EDTA can only bind with what it finds we do not feel that it will deplete essential minerals from your body as long as you supplement on a regular basis. We recommend taking this mineral supplementation at least 8 hours separate from the Biotox to give your body time to breakdown and utilize the minerals before the EDTA has a chance to bind with them.
  • Is Biotox better than oral chelation products?
By using a suppository you will get about 95% absorption of the EDTA, however with oral EDTA, only about 5% of the ingested EDTA will survive the stomach to be utilized. This makes oral EDTA therapy far less effective than the suppository method.
  • What is the Endothelium and how does Biotox help?
The Endothelium is a membrane that is a single cell layer thick that lines the inside of the circulatory and lymphatic systems. This membrane has several functions which include; the production of nitric oxide, summoning of white blood cells, assistance in the regulation of coagulation of the blood and control of the contraction and relaxation of veins. The primary cause of endothelial dysfunction is the build up of heavy metals in this lining which causes it be far less effective. Nitric oxide is a gas produced in the endothelium which controls the relaxing or dilating of the blood vessels. If nitric oxide is not produced, the blood vessels will become rigid and non- flexible causing hardening of the blood vessels. The EDTA in Biotox will remove heavy metals from the endothelium helping it to produce nitric oxide thereby allowing the blood vessels to relax increasing the blood flow.
  • How long does it take for the suppository to absorb?
On the average, it will take between 80-120 minutes for the suppository to absorbed through the colon wall and directly into the blood stream. The time will vary due to many factors including body chemistry, matter build up etc.
  • Will it hurt to insert the suppository?
Biotox uses cocoa butter as the base which helps the suppository gently slide into the rectum with ease. There may be a slight bit of pressure due to the fact you are inserting a foreign object into your body, however your body will become accustomed to the process within the first few applications.
  • Will Biotox irritate the colon?
Biotox uses calcium disodium EDTA, which has a neutral ph that will not irritate the colon.
